Distancing Distractions: At-Home Video Challenge
The Fort Worth Film Commission and Lone Star Film Festival have partnered to present “Distancing Distractions,” a home video challenge inviting everyone to flex their creative muscles and create from within their homes during social distancing.
To participate, produce a short video using the resources you have available. Videos should be at least :30 seconds in length but should not exceed 2 minutes.
Get creative! There are no restrictions on where your imagination can take you. Some ideas to get started:
-Create a clay-mation story
-Film a culinary tutorial
-Practice the stop-motion technique (try using legos or building blocks to get started)
-Show us a day-in-the-life of your pets
-Send in a movie review
-Star in your own lip-sync music video
-Read or act out your favorite children’s story
-Use a sheet to create a green screen background and showcase a new destination
-Get physical and teach us some work out moves
-Dance it out with some fresh choreography
Once your masterpiece is complete, email your submission to filmcommission@fortworth.com or tag @FilmFortWorth and @Lonestarfilmfest on Instagram using the hashtag #DistancingDistractions. Please make sure to tag both accounts!
If you have a private Instagram account, please be sure to email us using a file-sharing site like Dropbox, Google Drive or WeTransfer.
Please include the following with your entry:
-Name

All entries will be considered and those selected will be shared on the @FilmFortWorth and @Lonestarfilmfest social media pages over the next few weeks.
